The Creative Works Print (CWP) series from TOUCH & FLOW pairs original artwork with specialty print production, turning a postcard into something closer to a small-format art print. For this collaboration, the designers worked with Kanae Kouno's illustration catalog and arranged her compositions for the postcard format, then handed production to craftsmen who apply foil stamping and clear varnish layer by layer.

Kouno, originally from Kagawa Prefecture and now based in Hayama, Kanagawa, works across ink and brush drawing, scratch technique (carved out like engraving), and collage. Her subjects are plants and animals drawn from the natural scenery around her. She works without preliminary sketching, pursuing what she calls the beauty of free forms, and builds color through complex layering rather than single-pass application.

The foil finish, available in gold or copper depending on the design, picks up on the luminous quality already present in Kouno's original work. The clear varnish adds a subtle relief to the printed surface, giving each card a presence that holds up beyond the novelty of the format.
