TOUCH & FLOW worked directly with rubber stamp artist Asako Yoshinaka, whose specialty is plant-based motifs carved from eraser blocks, to develop this series. The process was iterative: multiple drafts were produced and reviewed together before the final four designs were selected, one for each season.

Each postcard is printed from a hand-carved rubber stamp, which means no two prints are perfectly identical. Ink density shifts across the surface, edges feather slightly, and faint gaps appear where pressure varied. These are properties of the medium, not flaws. The wreath format gives each seasonal plant a circular frame: rapeseed flowers cluster for spring, morning glories wind through summer, wheat ears arc through autumn, and lotus seed pods anchor the winter design.

Asako Yoshinaka works primarily on custom private orders, making this collaboration an opportunity to bring her carving into a wider format.
