About Postcard
Having grown up on Cozumel, an island in Mexico, surrounded by nature, I was always inspired by the environment around me. Recently, as I’ve been exploring more of Tokyo, I felt a similar inspiration from the nature hidden throughout the city.
One element I kept noticing wherever I went was the koi fish. I often visit shrines and parks where I encounter these beautiful fish. In Japanese culture, koi are often associated with luck and good fortune. With that in mind, I created “A Pair of Koi” as a small symbol of luck, something you can share with someone you care about and wish them a little good fortune. I hope this postcard can bring a small moment of warmth and luck to whoever receives it.
