Behind the Design

The 28mm circular blade sits in the smaller end of OLFA's rotary cutter range, designed for tighter curves and more controlled cuts than the larger 45mm or 60mm variants. The compact diameter gives you better maneuverability around patterns and corners.

OLFA uses tungsten steel for the blade, the same hard-wearing alloy found in industrial cutting tools. It holds an edge longer than standard carbon steel, which matters when you're running through multiple layers of fabric or dense material in one session. The blade fits OLFA's Rotary Cutter 28 (models 233 and 235) and is also backward-compatible with the older models 36 and 194.
