A Japan-exclusive design has appeared for the Monograph mechanical pencil! It is a mechanical pencil equipped with a "MONO eraser" in a rotating twist-out style. It features the "Frenock mechanism," where you shake the shaft up and down to advance the lead, and the "Frellok" function, which locks the Frenock in place by pushing up the clip. This allows for high-quality and precise "writing" and "erasing."

Cool design

I saw this product on their Instagram and had to get one before they were sold out. The pencil itself writes great and the shake feature for more pencil lead is very practical. I got the koi design and the fish look great but are a little more translucent than advertised. They're certainly on that pencil though and wouldn't come off when directly scratching at them with my nails. The pencil grip itself has no comfort and is pure plastic, but that doesn't bother me too much. Another great pencil by MONO.
