What Is Furoshiki?
This traditional Japanese wrapping cloth dates back to the Nara period, around 700 AD. It is typically used to wrap and carry various objects, including lunch boxes, presents, and bottles, among other items.
Decorated with a wide variety of colors, motifs, and patterns, furoshiki is not only beautiful but also reusable. It can be repurposed for gift-wrapping, home decoration, personal adornment, and other everyday uses.
