FriXion pens have built a following around their thermo-sensitive erasable ink, but one limitation has always followed them: erasable ink is not suitable for documents, certificates, or addressing formal envelopes, where permanence matters.

The FriXion Ball Switch was designed to close that gap. It is the first pen in the FriXion family to house both erasable and oil-based permanent ink in a single body, letting the writer switch between rewritable notes and legally appropriate permanent writing without picking up a second pen. The newly developed oil-based ink was formulated specifically for resistance to light and abrasion, the two main concerns when writing on official documents.

This Dragon Ball Z campaign version pairs the pen with a collectible sticker program featuring 10 original designs, two of which are special hologram types, distributed randomly with each purchase during the October to December 2026 campaign window.
