Behind the Design

The Radar series addresses one of the most common complaints about everyday erasers: the shavings. Standard erasers leave debris scattered across the page, requiring repeated brushing and often smearing what you just corrected. SEED developed two solutions within the same product family.

Matomare Radar uses a special resin compound with enhanced adhesiveness. As you erase, the debris binds to itself and clumps into a compact mass rather than spreading. Sarasara Radar takes a slightly different approach: a micro powder compound reduces friction for a lighter erasing stroke, while still clumping the resulting debris. The two types share the same tidy result, just via different formulas and feels. Both are phthalate-free and comply with Japan's Green Purchasing Law.

Two erasers from SEED's Radar series, each with a different approach to the same problem: keeping shavings from scattering. Matomare Radar uses a sticky resin compound to clump debris together, while Sarasara Radar adds a micro powder compound for a lighter, smoother stroke that still clumps.
