Aderia Retro is a line of revival glassware from Ishizuka Glass, reproducing the colorful, patterned tumblers that were staples of Japanese coffee shops and home tables during the Showa era (1926–1989). When the revival edition launched, it became a genuine hit, drawing both older customers revisiting childhood memories and younger buyers encountering the patterns for the first time.

RYU-RYU took those same motifs and built a memo pad around the specific atmosphere of a Showa-era kissaten (coffee shop): the laminated menu cards, the little menu stands on the table, the glass sitting next to a saucer. Each of the four layers references a different part of that scene. The result is a memo pad with four distinct paper types in one cover, all visually coherent because they share the same Aderia Retro source material.
