Behind the Design

Morita Inbou has operated as a seal maker in Kyoto's Shijo-Karasuma district for 75 years. Rather than resting on traditional hanko production alone, the studio developed a line of decorative wood stamps under the theme "a colorful life enjoying hanko" — bringing the craftsmanship of seal-making into everyday stationery use.

This set pairs two autumn motifs: a compact mushroom stamp and a slightly wider fallen leaves stamp, each sized for use in planners, journals, or correspondence. Both designs were created by Morita Inbou's in-house designer and are produced to order, meaning each set is made after purchase rather than held in stock.
