Behind the Design

Okashi na Doubutsu Kobo translates roughly as Sweets and Animals Workshop, a series concept built around pairing animals with confectionery themes. Each design places a different creature in a food-related scenario: a seal made of cream, a bird in cosplay, a dog sandwiched between layers, a panda at rest, a rabbit bundled snugly, and a cat peeking through a gap.

The third collection continues the series with the same compact format that made earlier editions popular. The backing card keeps the pad neat on a desk while the sticky notes themselves are shaped to give the illustration enough room to read clearly at a glance.

These sticky notes from the third collection of Furukawashiko's Okashi na Doubutsu Kobo (Sweets and Animals Workshop) series feature animals styled around food themes.
