The Tsubame Block Memo takes a simple idea seriously: a memo pad that doubles as two. A thick cardboard sheet is inserted at sheet 200, reinforcing the middle of the block so it can be separated into two fully functional 200-sheet pads. Keep one at your desk and slip the other into a bag, or share one half with a colleague.

The 85×85mm square format fits neatly in small spaces without the awkwardness of a rectangular pad that extends past a keyboard or notebook edge. Cream foolscap paper, the same stock Tsubame Note has long used in its school notebooks, gives a warm writing surface with enough tooth for both pencil and ballpoint. Six ruling options cover everything from plain writing to manuscript grid layouts designed for Japanese character counting.
