Behind the Design

Tokyo Cartographic, known for maps and geographic publishing, channeled that regional sensibility into this masking tape series. Each roll organizes 16 national flags from a specific part of the world into a repeating pattern across the tape width.

Production is handled by Kamoi Kakoshi, the Okayama-based paper manufacturer whose mt brand tape set the standard for washi masking tape quality in Japan. That partnership means the flag graphics sit on a paper tape with consistent tension, clean tear, and repositionable adhesive.

A 15mm masking tape printed with national flag patterns, available in Asia and North & South America editions with 16 countries per roll. The tape is manufactured by Kamoi Kakoshi, the company behind the original mt masking tape, so the paper quality and adhesive are the real thing.
