Originally published in Japan in the 1930s by artist and designer Wada Sanzo, A Dictionary of Color Combinations is a beloved collection of hand-picked color pairings that has found a new generation of fans among designers, artists, and stationery lovers around the world. Reissued in two volumes, each page presents a carefully balanced palette that still feels fresh nearly a century later.
The colors of every item in this set were chosen from Palette 166 in A Dictionary of Color Combinations Vol. 1. Warm Naples Yellow and playful Grenadine Pink are balanced by a grounding Deep Slate Green, creating a cheerful, lighthearted kit for quick notes, everyday plans, and a little fun on the go. It's a thoughtful way to bring a page of Wada Sanzo's palette off the paper and onto your desk.
