Behind the Design

The Filing Note was designed around a simple frustration: documents and notes belong together but rarely end up that way. Receipts, printouts, reference sheets, and handwritten pages accumulate in different places and need to be reunited every time you sit down to work.

KING JIM's answer was to build two file pockets directly into the notebook cover, one at the front and one at the back, so any loose document you need alongside your notes has a fixed home. The included graph paper works for general note-taking, but the format doesn't lock you in. When the leaves run out, folded copy paper drops in as a replacement, and KING JIM provides printable templates on their website, including monthly calendars and To-Do lists, so you can configure the interior to your own workflow.
