Behind the Design

Crepas oil pastels sit between a crayon and an artist-grade oil stick in texture. The formulation is softer than a typical crayon, which lets you vary line width and pressure without breaking the stick, and the pigment load is high enough to apply thickly for an opaque, canvas-like result.

The 50-color roll set was designed so the full color range is visible the moment you unroll the case. Rather than digging through a box, you see the entire spectrum laid out in a gradient sequence, which makes color selection faster during a drawing session.
