Behind the Design

The myfa Ruling Pen was developed for a specific frustration: adding extra structure to notebooks and planners without the new lines looking out of place. Standard pens bleed, skip, or write too boldly, breaking the visual rhythm of a carefully laid-out spread.

The solution was a 0.05mm tip, one of the finest available in a capped pen format, combined with a soft blue-gray ink that reads as a ruling color rather than an annotation. The water-based pigment formula is water-resistant once dry, meaning you can apply brush pens, markers, or watercolor washes on top without the ruling line smearing or bleeding through.
