Behind the Design

The myfa Log Pen was designed around a specific use pattern: writing dense, small text and fine-line illustrations in planners, journals, and life log notebooks. At 0.2mm, the tip produces lines fine enough to annotate tightly ruled pages without crowding.

The water-resistant pigment ink solves a common problem for planner enthusiasts and oshi-katsu (fan activity) journalers who layer brush markers or highlighters over handwritten text. Standard dye-based inks bleed or smear when wet ink passes over them; the pigment formula here resists that. The lightfast quality means entries won't fade on the page over months or years of storage.

Structural choices reflect daily carry: a brass clip, polypropylene body, and POM tip for consistent line output. The pen is recommended to be stored horizontally to maintain ink flow to the fine tip.
