Behind the Design

The Mutual File Case was designed around one core constraint: the lid must not get in the way. Most snap-close cases open 90 degrees at best, which means you have to tilt or shake the case to retrieve items near the back. The 180-degree hinge here lays the lid completely flat, so the entire interior is open and reachable from the front.

The 30mm body depth is deliberate. Slim enough to stack several cases in a compact space or line them upright on a shelf without support, yet deep enough to take a full A4 booklet or manual without buckling the spine. The polypropylene shell keeps weight low while maintaining enough rigidity to hold its shape under load.

A slim A4 file case with a lid that opens a full 180 degrees, giving you unobstructed access to everything inside in one motion. At 30mm deep, it holds around 270 sheets and stands upright on a shelf without tipping.
