Kinokosya builds products around original story concepts, and this sticker series comes from one of their fictional imprints: Kuro Denwa-sha, a shop imagined as a purveyor of Showa-era goods that recently hosted a lecture on how to use rotary dial phones.

The imagery draws from that same world. The School design features objects that would have lived in any postwar Japanese classroom: a blackboard eraser, a rubber slipper, a protractor, a wall clock, a randoseru school bag. The Science Room design turns to the prep-room shelf: an ammeter, a tuning fork, a magnifying glass, experiment glassware. Each image is rendered in a real-photo aesthetic rather than illustration, giving the stickers the slightly faded, tactile quality of found photographs.

The square format at 1.5cm keeps each sticker compact enough to sit inside a planner grid or close a small envelope without competing with the surrounding design.
