Behind the Design

Most erasers require firm pressure to lift pencil marks cleanly, which can cause test sheets and thin notebook paper to wrinkle, tear, or pile up. Tombow designed the Mono More Lightly Erasable Eraser specifically to reduce the force needed, letting the eraser do more of the work so the paper takes less of the stress.

The formulation uses a phthalate ester-free PVC resin body, keeping the eraser safe for school use while maintaining the clean lift that the Mono eraser line is known for. The paper sleeve is made with at least 50% recycled pulp and meets Japan's Green Purchasing Law standards, reflecting Tombow's ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impact in everyday stationery.

The Mono More Lightly Erasable Eraser by Tombow is engineered to erase with less force than a typical eraser, so test sheets and notebook pages are less likely to wrinkle or tear under repeated use. The sleeve is made with at least 50% recycled pulp, and the PVC body is phthalate ester-free.
