The Kokuyo Survey Field Book (Sokuryo Yacho) is a staple notebook originally designed for field surveyors and engineers working outdoors. This cover was made to extend its utility without changing what makes the notebook itself work.

The olefin resin construction resists water, protecting pages in unpredictable outdoor conditions. Two pen holders keep the notebook pressed shut during transit, a simple detail that prevents the cover from flapping open in a bag or clip pouch. The strap hole is the more unusual feature: it lets you thread your own shoulder or neck strap through the cover so the notebook can hang independently, freeing your hands. The clear outer surface doubles as a display layer, accepting stickers, film photos, or printed inserts between the cover and the notebook without any adhesive.
