Behind the Design

Most ring binders trade off spine width against capacity: a slim spine means fewer sheets. The Twist Ring Smart Slim solves this by raising the ring height within the same 27mm spine, gaining 30 extra sheets of capacity over a conventional binder of identical width.

The ring mechanism itself replaces the standard lever or button with a twist action. Rotating the ring clockwise unlocks and opens it; rotating back closes it. This reduces the pinch-and-pull fumbling common with older ring designs and lets the file open and close with one hand.

The rivet fastener is designed for separate disposal, so the steel and polypropylene components can be sorted for recycling without tools.

A 27mm-spine ring binder that holds up to 180 sheets, 30 more than a standard binder of the same width. The twist ring opens with a simple clockwise turn, no squeezing or prying required.
