Raymay Fujii developed the Pencut line around a single constraint: scissors that store like a pen. The Skeleton edition adds a transparent ABS body so the retraction mechanism inside is fully visible, giving the tool a retro-pop character that earlier Pencut models kept hidden.

The handle loop is made from flexible PE rather than rigid plastic, so it conforms to the hand rather than forcing a fixed grip. A small lever at the base of the body shifts the loop orientation toward whichever side you choose, and the double-edged stainless blade means neither left- nor right-handed users have to compromise on cut quality. When capped, the scissors collapse to 13 mm wide, the same profile as a standard pen.
