Behind the Design

Morita Inbou is a seal and stamp maker founded 75 years ago in Shijo Karasuma, Kyoto. Operating under the theme "a colorful life enjoying hanko," the shop creates stamps that go beyond practical use into everyday expression and personality.

The Fure Fure stamp features a small character in a cheering pose, based on the Japanese phrase "fure fure" (ふれふれ), an encouragement chant used at sporting events and in everyday life. The design was created entirely in-house by Morita Inbou's dedicated designer, keeping the creative process close to the stamp-making craft. It fits naturally into planner spreads, card decorations, and notebook margins wherever a small moment of encouragement belongs.

A wood stamp featuring Morita Inbou's cheerful "Fure Fure" (cheer cheer) character, designed to add encouragement to planners, notebooks, and letters. Made by a Kyoto stamp house with 75 years of history, each design comes from a dedicated in-house designer.
