Morita Inbou has operated from Shijo-Karasuma in Kyoto for 75 years, originally as a traditional seal and hanko maker. This candle stamp set reflects the studio's ongoing project to bring that same craft sensibility into decorative stationery territory.

The set was designed around a single visual idea: stamping a complete candle scene. The two candle stamps (one with a stripe body, one with a dot body) each produce a small flame-topped silhouette, while the ring stamp is sized precisely to wrap around the flame as a glowing halo. Used together, they layer into a cohesive composition. All three designs were drawn by Morita Inbou's in-house designers, keeping the visual language consistent across the studio's wider stamp catalogue.
