About Shipments To The United States

For the United States,

Regular Shipping will take around 1-2 weeks till arrival after shipment. We will first ship your package to our warehouse in California and then have your package shipped domestically via USPS.

Express Shipping will take around one week or less till arrival after shipment. Your package will be shipped via UPS and will be shipped directly from Japan.

About Shipments To Other Countries

You will also have options for either Regular or Express for other countries. Depending on the shipping situation, one option may be unavailable.

Regular Shipping will take around 1-2 weeks till arrival after shipment. Your package will be directly shipped via Japan Post. The tracking number provided can also be applied to your local Post Office tracking service.

Express Shipping will take around one week or less till arrival after shipment. Your package will be shipped via Japan Post or UPS and will be directly shipped from Japan.

Are all products on bungu made in Japan?

Not all products sold on our website are made in Japan. We focus on products that were designed in Japan and were initially targeted towards Japanese customers. In other words, products that are exclusively sold in Japan.

When will I receive my order?

All orders take between 1-4 business days to be fulfilled.

Please note that orders placed on Friday will be fulfilled on Monday. Orders placed during Japanese National Holidays will be fulfilled the following day.

Regular Shipping: Delivery typically takes 1-2 weeks from the time of shipment.
Express Shipping: Delivery typically takes one week or less from the time of shipment.

Will I need to pay duties on arrival?

Depending on your order and destination, duties may be charged when the product arrives.

While we are happy to assist with any questions regarding duty, tax, or import fees through our chat service or via email at, please be aware that bungu Store is not responsible for any fees incurred upon importing your product. We advise checking with your local customs office for detailed information on potential charges.

What if I want to cancel or change my order?

We are happy to accommodate changes to orders as long as they have not yet been shipped from Japan. If you need to modify your order in any way, please contact us immediately.

Unfortunately, once the package has left Japan, we are unable to make any further changes to it.

Can I return or exchange a purchase?

We currently do not offer returns or exchanges.

When can I expect my refund?

A refund takes up to 10 business day to be credited back.

What if I didn't receive my order?

Please contact us through our chatbox or email with your order number so we can help you.

Do you offer gift wrap?

Unfortunately, we do not offer an option for gift wrap. We are currently working to offer an option as soon as possible.

How can I get a discount?

You can subscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of our website to receive 15% off your first order. Please enter the discount code during checkout.

What are your operating hours?

Our office and customer service team are available Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Japan time. Please note that we are closed on weekends and Japanese public holidays. If you contact us outside of these hours, we will strive to respond to your inquiry on the next business day. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you have a physical store in Japan?

We are currently an online store only, and we ship all of our orders from Tokyo, Japan. But feel free to check out our website!
